Billing Disclosures

The short version

• Players never pay, for anything, ever.
• A Basic listing is free forever for teachers, organizers, and businesses, and it is never ranked lower for being free.
• Find My Mahj Premium is $89 a year and adds business tools (structured lesson requests through Find My Mahj on teacher listings, and the Premium Provider badge). It never buys search placement, ranking, or verification.
• Claiming your listing starts 90 days of Premium free, automatically, no card collected.
• We never see or store your card number. Stripe handles payments.

Who pays, and who does not

Find My Mahj Premium is for teachers, organizers, and businesses. Players browsing, searching, creating a player listing, or using Mahj Match never pay anything.

What Premium costs

Find My Mahj Premium is $89 a year, billed annually. It adds business tools on top of your free Basic listing: structured lesson requests from players delivered straight to you through Find My Mahj (on teacher listings), and the Premium Provider badge. Payment never buys search placement, ranking, or verification; your Basic listing is never removed, hidden, or demoted for not paying.

The introductory offer: 90 days of Premium when you claim your listing

When you claim your listing, Premium turns on automatically for 90 days from your claim date. No promo code, no card collected, nothing to cancel. At the end of the 90 days you choose: pay $89 a year to keep Premium, or do nothing and your listing simply continues as a free Basic listing. You are never billed automatically at the end of the trial, because we never collected a card.

Renewal

A paid membership, started by your own explicit checkout and never by trial expiry, renews automatically each year at $89 unless you cancel before your renewal date. Once paid membership opens, before each annual renewal we send you a reminder email, targeted 30 days ahead of the renewal date, so you have time to decide.

Cancellation

You can cancel Find My Mahj Premium at any time, yourself, through the subscription management link on your provider dashboard (Stripe's secure customer portal), available from the day paid membership opens. If you prefer, email hello@findmymahjgame.com and we will cancel it for you. There is no cancellation fee. Canceling stops future billing; your Premium tools continue until the end of the period you already paid for, and your listing then continues as a free Basic listing.

If a payment fails

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it according to its payment-recovery settings and emails you so you can update your card, from the day paid membership opens. If the payment ultimately does not succeed, Premium ends when your paid period ends. Your listing stays published as a free Basic listing; nothing is deleted because a renewal failed, and we charge no penalty fee. Once Premium ends, the Premium tools (lesson requests and the Premium Provider badge) pause until you renew.

What we store, and what we never store

We use Stripe to process all payments. We never see or store your card number, expiration date, or security code. What we do keep, to show you your own membership status and keep your listing benefits current, is limited to: your email, Stripe reference IDs for your customer and subscription records, the subscription status (active, past due, or canceled), the price you are on, and your renewal date. If our records and Stripe's ever disagree, Stripe's record is always the correct one.

Refunds

If Find My Mahj Premium is not right for you, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your first $89 charge by emailing hello@findmymahjgame.com. After that 30-day period we do not offer routine refunds, and renewal charges are generally non-refundable. The exception is described in our Provider Terms: if we remove your paid listing for a reason not caused by your own violation or misconduct, we refund the unused portion of your term on a prorated basis. All of this applies except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Founding Advisor and Charter Member pricing

Founding Advisors (an invitation-only recognition) receive 12 months free, then lifetime locked-in Charter pricing. Charter Members (early supporters who join during launch and keep an active profile) lock in the $89/year rate for as long as they stay active. These are recognition programs layered on top of the membership described above, not separate products.

Changes to this disclosure

We may update these billing terms. If a change affects your price or renewal, we will notify you before it takes effect for you.
