Provider Terms

This document covers teachers, organizers, and businesses who list, claim, or manage a listing on Find My Mahj Game. It works alongside the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy; where they overlap, all three apply.

Who this covers

Anyone who creates a teacher, organizer, or business listing, or who claims ownership of an existing listing that describes their business.

Creating a listing

Anyone can submit a listing for a teacher, organizer, or business through our listing form. We review every submission by hand before it goes live, typically within 1 to 2 business days. Being listed is always free. We reserve the right to decline, edit, or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading, unrelated to mahjong, or otherwise violates these terms.

Claiming a listing you did not create

If a listing already exists for your business, you can claim it. Claiming works one of two ways:

• A claim link we send you, which you open and confirm with your email.
• Signing in and claiming it yourself, once you have an account.

When you claim a listing, we look at the evidence connecting you to it (matching contact email, matching business details, and similar) and record a confidence level (high, medium, or low) on that evidence. A claim is decided either automatically, when the evidence is strong and clear, or by a person on our team, when it is not. A claim is never approved on a guess. If your claim needs more information, we will tell you what is missing. If it is rejected, we will tell you why, and you can provide more evidence or contact us directly.

Once your claim is approved, you own that listing: you control its content, subject to our review of changes, and you can request its removal.

Editing your listing

At launch, edits to a claimed listing go through a short review before they appear publicly, the same review every new listing gets, to keep the directory accurate. Expect a short delay between saving an edit and seeing it live. We plan to let low-risk edits appear immediately in the future; until we announce that, every edit is reviewed.

Find My Mahj Premium and paid features

Being listed, claiming your listing, and appearing in search are always free, and Basic and Premium listings get the same neutral placement in search, browse, and Ask Find My Mahj. Find My Mahj Premium ($89 a year) adds business tools on top of your free listing: structured lesson requests from players delivered straight to you (on teacher listings), and the Premium Provider badge. You cannot buy Charter Member or Founding Advisor recognition; they layer on top of Premium (locked-in pricing, and for Founding Advisors a free period) and are not products of their own. Money never buys the right to exist in the directory, verification of your listing, higher placement or ranking, or any territory or exclusivity; verification comes only from the claim process, and payment is separate from it. Status badges

Some badges on your profile are earned, not purchased: a Charter Member badge recognizes early supporters who joined during launch and kept an active profile. You earn a Verified badge through the claim process: we grant it automatically when the evidence is clear, otherwise a person on our team reviews it. You cannot buy it. A Founding Advisor badge is by invitation only. Only the Premium Provider badge depends on Premium membership (paid, or during the complimentary trial). Badges can stack on one profile.

Accuracy and your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing's information.
• Notify us promptly of changes to your hours, location, pricing, or contact information.
• You are responsible for honoring any offer or claim made in your listing.
• Do not include another business's private information, and do not misrepresent your credentials or certifications.

Content standards

• Listing content must be accurate and related to mahjong.
• We may edit listings for accuracy, clarity, or length.
• Listings may not contain misleading claims, inappropriate content, or disparagement of another listed provider.
• Images must be relevant to your business and something you have the right to use.

Removing your listing

You can request removal of your listing at any time by emailing hello@findmymahjgame.com. A person on our team handles removal; it is not instantly automated. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle the data tied to a removed listing.

Termination by us

We may remove a listing and end a provider relationship if these terms are violated, if content is found to be inaccurate or inappropriate, or if we determine in good faith that the listing is not a fit for the platform. If you have paid for Find My Mahj Premium and we remove your listing for a reason not caused by your violation of these terms or other misconduct on your part, we refund the unused portion of your paid annual term on a reasonable prorated basis, and, where technically available, we let you keep or copy your own listing information.

Limitation of liability

Find My Mahj Game does not guarantee any specific number of views, clicks, or inquiries from your listing. We are a directory and matching platform; membership fees pay for business tools (lesson requests on teacher listings, and the Premium Provider badge), never for placement, and never for a guaranteed outcome.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Provider Terms. Continued use of your listing after a change means you accept the updated terms.
